BayTrust’s objective is to help build, strengthen
and enhance communities in the Bay of Plenty. It believes
that in providing an essential, top quality, life-saving
air rescue service, the Rotorua rescue helicopter assists
in achieving the objectives of BayTrust and the Trustees
are very pleased to give the helicopter service their
wholehearted support.

The Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust was
established in 1994. Its mission statement is to: 'Manage
and enhance assets held in trust and distribute income
for the long term benefit of the Rotorua District Community'.
In the 10 years since it has been established the Trust
has contributed almost $45 million to a wide range of
groups in the Rotorua District, while at the same time
the capital of trust has grown from $32 million to approximately
$120 million.
The Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust is
a strong supporter of the Rotorua Rescue Helicopter
operation and has for a number of years and continues
to provide $50,000 per year towards the operating costs.
This ongoing support for the rescue helicopter
is just part of the Trust support of rescue services
(including Coastguard and Ambulance) in the local Rotorua
district.

Rotorua Toyota, the City's long established
and respected Toyota Dealership in Te Ngae Road, became
involved with the Rescue Helicopter through Fletcher
Challenge in the early nineties. Ever since then, Rotorua
Toyota has been delighted to assist by supplying and
maintaining the Pilot's response vehicle.

Mortimer Design & Print is a Rotorua-based design
and print management company.
The company became involved with the Rotorua Helicopter
in 2004, wanting to show their support for this invaluable
local resource.

Lions Clubs of Rotorua have made funds available
for the rescue helicopter on an annual basis since the service
inception. This has most recently enabled the purchase of new Night Vision Googles. Lions Clubs have helped tremendously in the growth
and success of the service.
