Help us save lives
We are partially funded by a government contract with the National Ambulance Sector Office (NASO). We rely heavily on the generosity of sponsors and the community to help fund the shortfall that allows us to be rescue ready 24/7, 365 days of the year. This crucial financial support ensures our rescue helicopter can continue to bring life-saving equipment, rescue personnel, and intensive care paramedics directly to the patient.
Support your rescue helicopter and make a lifesaving difference in your community.
Fundraise for Us
Are you looking for a way to make a real impact in your community?
You can get involved today and fundraising for your community rescue helicopter! How you fundraise is completely up to you, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
Get in touch and let us know what you are planning, and we will send you a copy of our helpful Fundraising Guide.
We love it when people want to learn more about the work their rescue helicopter does in their community. Our pilots and crew would love to visit everyone to talk about the amazing they work they do, but as they are on duty around the clock this just isn’t possible.
Instead, we invite you and your group to come and meet your rescue helicopter team at the hangar – which we think is even better! Schedule a visit to learn about the important work we do in your community, and have your photo taken with your rescue helicopter and crew.
Visits are held on specific days each month so please get in touch and we will let you know when the next available date is for your nearest base.
Leave a Bequest
Your legacy is our future.
Your rescue helicopter ensures people like you can reach the best possible medical care in the fastest time possible, dramatically improving the chance of survival and recovery. Leaving a gift in your Will means your rescue helicopter can continue to save hundreds of people each year.
Every year your rescue helicopter faces significant funding challenges. Your decision to leave us a bequest has a huge impact on our service, as we receive no direct government funding. Many of the missions we carry out are only possible thanks to the gifts left by generous people like you.
Invest in the future of your rescue helicopter and save lives with a gift in your Will.
We realised that leaving a gift in your Will is a deeply personal decision. If you are considering making a bequest we want you to know how seriously we regard your decision. We promise you:
We will use your gift wisely. We promise to use your gift to provide exceptional rescue services.
We will be available. We are here and available to answer any questions you may have about our rescue service, how Philips Search and Rescue Trust is run and how your planned gift will be used.
We will respect your privacy. We promise that anything you discuss with us will be held in confidence.
You can change your mind. We realise your circumstances and priorities may change and so might your Will. We completely understand.
Your legacy is contributing significantly to our long-term financial well being and helps us ensure the saving of lives well into the future.

We Need You
Your rescue helicopter can be airborne in 10 minutes and, in a life or death situation, this speed and agility can make all the difference. The timely assistance that rescue helicopters provide can reduce disability and improve survival – the sooner treatment begins, the greater chance of patient recovery.
We are partially funded by a government contract with National Ambulance Sector Office (NASO).
Without your support, your rescue helicopter would not be able to remain operational on a 24/7, 365 day a year basis. This could mean a serious delay in people being rescued or transported to hospital for urgent treatment.
Support your rescue helicopter and make a lifesaving difference.
Saving Lives, Together.
