14-year-old rushed to hospital

The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was dispatched at approximately 11.30am this morning to Murupara to assist with a medical emergency.

Local St John staff where treating the patient when they made the decision to request the helicopter with an onboard Intensive Care Paramedic to assist with the situation.
The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter landed in a local park where the 14 year old local boy was stabilised for flight.  He was transported to Rotorua Hospital in a serious condition.
