The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter had a busy day on Tuesday 19th February.
At 9am the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Matamata where a man fell from a horse. He sustained serious leg and chest injuries and was airlifted to Waikato Hospital.
At 11.45am they were dispatched to Coromandel, a young girl was suffering from breathing difficulties. The young girl, accompanied by her mother, were flown to Waikato Hosptial for treatment.
In the early afternoon, 1.30pm they were dispatched to Taranaki for a transfer of a mother and baby.
