Airlift for teenage boy

In the late evening, the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Raetihi where a young male was experiencing a serious medical event.

The patient was transported by St John 13kms south of Raetihi where the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter landed to meet with the ambulance crew.

The onboard Intensive Care Paramedic closely monitored the teenage boy whilst being airlifted Whanganui Hospital.
