The Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Aria this morning to pick up a gentleman in his early 60s who was having a STEMI (heart attack).
He was thrombolised on the scene by the ambulance crew and was handed over to the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic and Emergency Department Doctor.
The man was transported to Waikato Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
