Back to back missions for the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter

The Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was dispatched just before 2pm on Sunday 1 April to Pirinoa, where a man in his 60’s had suffered a serious medical event. 

He was treated at the scene by the onboard paramedic and transported to Wellington Hospital for further assessment.

Ater the dispatch to Pirinoa and subsequent arrival at Wellington Hospital, the rescue helicopter was dispatched Moonshine Valley to a man in his 40’s who was injured after coming off his quad bike.
