Early Morning Rescue for Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter

At 2am Saturday 1 June the Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to a single car crash in the Eastern BOP town of Te Teko, the sole occupant, a 34 yo local woman, received serious head injuries as a result of be thrown from the vehicle.

She was stabilised at the scene by the Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter ICP before being flown to Tauranga hospital in a critical condition.

Later in the morning 0630, the same patient was transferred to Waikato Hospital.
