The Westpac Air Ambulance team was paged at 14.11pm on Monday afternoon for an ICU retrieval from Gisborne Hospital.
The on-duty crew, Captain – Warren McKay, First Officer – Alyce Wilson, and the ICU team.
The patient was a 53-year-old woman with a Subarachnoid Haemorrhage (SAH) and was picked up from Gisborne and transported to Waikato Hospital.
