In the morning at 10.40am the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Ohau for a 50-year-old female. The woman had suffered a serious injury after using a wood splitter. She was airlifted through to Palmerston North Hospital for further immediate medical care.
Later on in the day at 2pm, the on-duty crew was dispatched to Waiouru. An 82-year-old female was suffering from a suspected stroke and required immediate medical attention. She was cared for and treated by the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic whilst being flown to Palmerston North Hospital.
At 12.20am the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter crew were tasked to Castle Point. The crew arrived at the scene for a status 3 male who was involved in an ATV accident. The patient was not airlifted, instead taken by road ambulance to the hospital.
