On Sunday morning the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on SH 30 near Horohoro.
The onboard Intensive Care Paramedic treated a 61-year-old male at scene alongside St John staff, 3 passing off duty medical professionals and FENZ before they were flown to Waikato Hospital in a critical condition.
Later on in the day, the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to an 80-year-old female who was suffering from a stroke in Te Kuiti.
The onboard Intensive Care Paramedic treated the patient in Otorohanga where St John staff had transported her too before being flown to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.
