Motor vehicle accident on Himatangi Beach

On Sunday evening the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a motor vehicle accident on Himatangi Beach, shortly after 6pm.

While driving on the beach another ute cut in front of another ute that was also driving on the beach, the accident caused the driver to sustain injuries to her face, and male passenger sustained a fractured wrist and other minor injuries.

Both male and female required transportation to Palmerston North Hospital for further assessment.
