The Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was dispatched at approximately 7.30 pm on Friday 26 January to airlift a female in her 20’s who was attending a festival at Vinegar Hill who was suffering a medical emergency.
The woman had initially received medical assistance from the on-scene medical crew and volunteer fire bridge members. She was stablised by St John paramedics before being airlifted to Palmerston North Hospital for further treatment.
Early that day the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Tinui to a young woman who had fallen from her horse. She was stablised at the scene by paramedics before being flown to Palmerston North Hospital for further treatment.
