The TECT Rescue helicopter was tasked on Wednesday evening to Whakmarama where a farmer rolled his quad bike.
The TECT Rescue Helicopter was first at the scene, the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic stabilised the patient before being flown to Tauranga Hospital with serious chest injuries.
Later on that evening, shortly after 11:15pm, the TECT Rescue Helicopter was tasked alongside the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter and the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter to Murupara where a pedestrian was hit by a car.
The pedestrian received serious leg injuries and was stabilised by the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic and ambulance paramedics.
Due to bad weather, the patient was flown to Rotorua Hospital by the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter for stabilising.
