On Monday the team was tasked to depart around midday. The team onboard, Massey Lynch – Captain, Alyce Wilson – First Officer and Mutian Tait – Flight Nurse.
The team flew from Hamilton – Rotorua – Wellington – Rotorua and back to Hamilton. They transported a pregnant 32-year-old woman, her partner and Rotorua based midwife to Wellington.
The woman had a PV bleed at 25 weeks gestation and was being transported to Wellington Hospital for investigation and treatment.
