In the early hours of Friday morning, the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter crew transported a patient from Taupō Emergency Department to Waikato Hospital following a stroke.
In the afternoon, the on-duty crew transported a patient in her 50’s from Rotorua Hospital to Auckland Hospital with an acute medical condition, carefully monitored by the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic.
In the late Friday evening, the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter crew were dispatched to the Western Bays for a critical patient involved in a motor vehicle crash.
He was treated at the scene by the onboard Intensive Care Paramedic before being flown to Waikato Hospital for immediate medical care.
On Saturday afternoon the on-duty crew transported a patient from Whakapapa skifield to Rotorua Hospital with a nasty fractured ankle following a fall on the mountain.
