Wednesday’s Mission Round Up

On Wednesday, February 24th, the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter attended to a male patient in his thirties in Dannevirke suffering a heart attack.

The patient was treated at the scene and flown to Wellington Hospital for an immediate life-saving procedure.

That evening, the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to Paraparaumu to treat a female patient in her seventies suffering a medical event.

The patient was stabilised before being transported to  Wellington Hospital.

Later that same night, the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Levin for a motor vehicle accident.

The patient, a male in his thirties, suffered multiple injuries. He was stabilised at the scene and flown to Palmerston North Hospital.
